For SEEING THE UNSEEN work in progress project I was introduced to John by Anj the ex Mayor of Islington who also has MS.
John not only has MS but he is also living with cancer – we went for lunch and he kindly allowed me to photograph him for a day for research for SEEING THE UNSEEN work in progress project, as we discussed MS and his unique story.
When you have MS its sometimes impossible to sit up and a bath environment with greasy sides and nothing to hold on to it’s the worse. I once couldn’t get out at all, let out all the water, in case I messed up and hit my head, but still couldn’t so I had to get some help and ended up just rolling out onto the floor like a beached whale, Totally humiliating.
